Panic bars, sometimes referred to as crash bars, are used in the manufacture of our heavy duty single and double steel fire exit doors.
The main function of panic bars is to allow the door on which it's fitted, to release and open instantly to quickly escape in a fire or other emergency. Our standard panic bar models are from the Easi-Exit range of Euro Specs hardware.
We can offer a 1, 2 or 3 point latching panic bars for our steel doors where most standard fire exit doors only use a single point panic / crash bar. As we pride ourselves on the security of our steel doors we offer 3 point latching panic bars as standard on all our fire exit and emergency exit steel doors.
All our steel door panic bars are tested to BS EN 1634 and BS EN 1125 to allow the client peace of mind. The price stated is for the crash bar only (non-fitted).
